Basements are often plagued with rising damp or concrete cracks. Especially in periods of heavy rainfall, every crack is becoming a risk for moisture problems. Fortunately, there are countless products and solutions for waterproofing your basement again. However, this is always a very expensive situation.
That's why it is very smart to use preventive sealing products while building the basement. BeSealed® has qualitative waterstops that can be applied before pouring the concrete. During humid periods, these waterstops start to swell and create pressure against the surrounding concrete. That way, the basement is 100% waterproof again. After every humid period, our waterstops go back to their initial shape, ready to be activated again.
