London calling: Tideway Project
As you all know, BeSealed products have been developed for waterproofing concrete structures. An example of a concrete construction is the Thames Tideway tunnel.
London depends on a 150 year old sewerage system that has been built for a population of less than half its current size. As a result, millions of tonnes of untreated waste water end up in the River Thames every year. That is exactly what the Tideway project is about. Tideway are building a ‘super sewer’ under the Thames to intercept those nasty spills and clean up the river for the good of the city, its wildlife and the people.
BeSealed will do everything in its power to ensure that our products are included in the tender specifications. This means close contact with the architects of this project.
