Doha Underground (Qatar)

Doha Underground is an enormous underground project in development in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This finished project will include an underground connection of 211km, spread over 4 lines with 85 stations. Together with the manufactuer of the EPDM profiles which connect the tunnel segments, BeSealed developed a water swellable insert.

The sealing joint actively and rapidly seals the construction. Leakage doesn’t have any chance. Because of the extremely high salt concentration of the soil water in Doha this round profile has been manufactured in the revolutionary SuperSwell material.
