6-7-2016 | From 26th till 28th September 2016 BeSealed® is participating in DATEX (Hall A), the 4th Dam & Tunnel Conference & Exhibition in Teheran (Iran). We are looking forward to presenting you our active sealing solutions product range during this three day international event for the tunnelling industry.
BeSealed® and Tunnelling
BeSealed® hydrophilic waterstops are particularly suited for waterproofing tunnels. Our waterstops are applied in the classic tunnel gaskets surrounding the tunnel shells. Upon water infiltration in the concrete of a tunnel, our self-expanding waterstops will be activated and will absorb the water. Consequently, the tunnel gaskets will expand, high pressure between the shells is created and water infiltration is prevented. Moisture and leakage will not get any chance!
Specifically for tunnelling projects in areas where ground water has a high salt concentration, BeSealed® developed “Polybar+ Superswell”, a sealing bar with an impressive expansion capacity.
